Mamaface the Slackerface due to being a Busyface with Cheeserface

This mamaface has been a major slackerface.

I totally need to blog more. I have so much to blog about, so of course, that keeps me from blogging. But miss Audrey Jade is napping and I'm waiting for her to wakey wakey so we can go on a hike...so what better time than now to blog! Before I talk about my wild Vegas Bachelorette trip, I would like to give a run through of all of our hikes and such for the rest of March. We have a pretty sweet life, us two...
So in celebration of St. Patty's day, we needed a nice St. Patty's day hike up Grandeur Peak in all green attire of course. Grandeur is in Millcreek, and pretty much, one of my favorite hikes. It is gorgeous.
My mama, Jesica and Puerta all came along for the fun

Audrey was even wearing green bows..hell, my mom was wearing a green bow too. Why not..
At the top is a bunch of prettiness and Audrey got to have her milk, enjoy the view for the 5th time and eat some cheese. We choreographed a leprechaun dance for all to enjoy

I ran across this picture of Audrey from last years St. Patty's day
Wow. Wasn't she just a cute Cheeserface. She was only FIVE months old here. Look at that gummy grin. Look at that bald head. Just amazing

Moving on...
The very next day after Grandeur was a sunny one. So much so, that I got to stroll along Emigration Ridgeline wearing nothing but my T. We stopped, had a picnic, laid out in the sun...

I totally burnt my retina's. The snow makes everything super bright and I sweat so bad that sometimes I have to take off my sunglasses. I put Audrey's goggles on though so she was probably super toasty. Oh well. She was protected from premature blinding and aging (thanks mommy)

My friend Jeremy showed me this app on my phone called My Tracks. Its amazing. I'm so sad that I never used it until these past few hikes. Basically, it tracks your entire hike through GPS. Elevation gain, miles, speed. You can then send it to your GMail. Puerta and I used it for a snowshoe up Parleys. It was amazing. Pretty tough. We cut through the trees to get up to the top and My Tracks really helped us trace our way down the mountain (we get lost easy)

Isn't this amazing? I wish I could take the entire world to these spots we hike to. Its truely breathtaking. Sometimes I get goosebumps (I know, I sound so cheesy and lame)
I have such a hard time picking pictures to put up on my blog, let alone keep track of all of the hikes, which pictures to print...I take ten million pictures a month I swear!
I know that Audrey is too little to remember all these hikes, and I want her to have these pictures documented

Next stop on the hiking list was one of the most beautiful trails I've ever done...drumroll please...Mineral Fork. This trail is up Big Cottonwood and I have done it before. The only thing is I had never finished it. I absolutely hate not finishing. The entire thing is over nine miles long, 3000 feet elevation gain and pretty intense. Puerta and I were up for the challenge...

It was such a nice, sunny day. The trail was melting as we were going.

My calves/bum/hip flexors get sore just looking at these pictures

The mine at the end is an optical illusion. The more you walk, the farther away it seems to go

Notice that we are walking straight towards an avalanche...

In action....

Good thing I slathered Audrey in sunscreen...Puerta suffered a pretty intense sunburn and I had an awesome farmer line...
This is one of my favorite pictures of Cheeserface and I. I have it framed already ;)

So, the very next day, I was experiencing some pretty good soreness in the buttal area along with a fresh burn on my skin but it didn't stop me from going and celebrating Sharry's birthday with a birthday hike up Millcreek...little did I know that we would be hiking Mt. Aire again...it was my fourth hike that week! I complained in my head for the first few miles and then decided I needed to suck it up...

Mt. Aire is a tough hike. I had never taken Audrey up it before. At just under 2 miles it has a 2000 foot elevation gain. Plus the extra three miles you have to go on the road that is blocked off...this trail takes a few hours..

I was a sweaty pig...but pretty proud of myself for making it to the top

TA DA

Happy Birthday to Sharry! I don't know why I was squatting in that picture. It looks awkward. I'm pretty sure it was an intense squat too.

And how could I forget to mention Jesica's Birthday celebration at the cabin in Heber? Here we are attempting the STRICU/ RICU/ ER Pyramid...

Jenney has a son two months younger then Audrey...she basically loved him...

Picture proof of the love...she wouldn't stop hugging him. Such a flirt

So that was the rest of March. March was awesome. Busy. Fun....but Cheeserface and I are ready for some warm weather, bikini's and jelly sandals...

Right after this picture was taken, we performed a 'Sun Dance' and hoped for the snow to stop so we can hang up our snowshoes, take off some layer and chillax next to a lake and/or pool..

Bring on APRIL! Its already been just as good as March...Oh...and next blog...VEGAS...BACHELORETTE STYLE! Trust me...its gonna be a hilarious blog...

Easter Pics

Wanna see some really cute pics that totally deserve to be framed around my entire house?

Audrey's Easter Pics!!! (also 18 month pics)

My good girlfriend Jennie does awesome work. She offered Easter Mini Sessions so of course we had to get them done
Notice Audrey's gloves? She can thank Grandma for them. Actually, my mom bought this entire outfit (except for the shoes, which dont match all that great)

Also, notice the bows? Damn cute I tell ya

This evil looking cheeserface grin was actually Audrey laughing at me because I was acting weird. Its the best way to get a good laugh outta her

CHEESE

I even flipped the bottom of Audreys hair out for this occasion...

I love how long her hair is getting. Its still cotton candy like and sticks straight up, but is definitely getting more manageable.

Wanna see another totally awesome picture?

Like Mother like Daughter or something like that

So, I totally have tons to blog about, I've just been crazy busy. At this exact moment I am waiting for my girlfriends to come and pick me up....BACHELORETTE PARTY...VEGAS!!! Woot WOOT! So, of course there will be mounds of blogging upon my arrival back home in a few days.
MUAH!

Creative Post Title Goes Here

Meet Erin...aka Dearing Dude...
Oooh yeah, 3rd grade. Playing with pound puppies. Notice the radical pink sweatsuit I am wearing too. Its awe-some

I have some awesome pictures of Erin and I. I know she has some good ones of me too. Black mail pics.

Erin and I go waaaaaaay back. All the way to age five when we shared cookies and Mrs. McDougals 1990 Kindergarten class

I'm standing right next to Mrs. McDougal and Erin is in the middle top row with the black and white shirt on
Erin and I will be friends always. Its just one of those friendships that never goes away. We're like Bert and Ernie (just less gay)
Erin had her first baby Ashton six months ago. He's a pretty cool little guy

We got together for some lunch and baby time at my parents house. Audrey just loves to give Ashton hugs

Then we tried to pictures of the four of us...except my hair sticking straight up kinda ruined the pictures...
Then Audrey demonstrated her musical talents...

But she wasn't too happy when I literally peeled her off the piano to try and take some more without my hair sticking up...so this is what we got! Somebody needed a nap!

Thanks Erin for your lasting, fun friendship and all the memories we have shared!

Last week we got to go on a few hikes. I am sad that I may need to hang my snowshoes and resort back to my hiking boots here soon. I love not worrying about bug spray and overheating, but it will be nice to not have to worry about frostbite and layer layer layer. We went up Mill D to Dog Lake with Sharry, Janese and Jesica. It was such a nice, sunny day...
Audrey was such a good little Cheeserface. She slept most all the way up to the lake. The hike itself is over five miles long round trip and at the very end has a pretty good climb. Its a huge workout. I ate like a pig later that night. Well, I eat like a pig all the time really

Once we got to the lake we sat in the sun and had a bite. Audrey ate all of Janese's coconut m&m's
I totally love how its so easy to just get outside and get some fresh air. Its nice to have a good set of friends that all love it too and we can go together. The next morning we decided to hit up a new hike. Mt. Aire (dun dun dunnnn)
This trail is up Millcreek. Basically you hike 1.5 miles up the road that is a snow trail, get to Elbow Fork Trailhead and its 1.9 miles to Mt. Aire...with a 2000 ft elevation gain. Hole-ee...Shit...Balls...
I was going to take Audrey but she had a bunch of green snot. I figured it would be mean to take a sinus infection head up into the mountains. Instead, I took my mom...

And a few other friends...and Oreo, the dog that gets carsick all over the snow gear...

Its kinda hard to tell...but this trail was STEEP. We were pretty much super stars for getting to the top. At one point, I was surrounded by trees, climbing up to a ledge, and I got a panic feeling. I've never felt panicky on a hike. It was like I was afraid of heights at that moment. I felt like if I looked down I would roll right off the mountain. Not the best feeling in the world.
Once we got to the top it was totally worth it...

We were a little sweaty and .5 mile the trail two of our cohikers had to turn around...

Next up, St. Patty's day and Cabin numero dos. March has been good to us this year...
